Should packing be this difficult?

It's gotten down to the nitty gritty and I'm actually leaving for Japan in a week.. um where did 3 months of my summer break go?

Packing for a year in another country is definitely not fun especially since I can't bring everything in my closet. I'm leaving behind my favorite jackets and boots that I'm sure I'll probably regret leaving once the cold temperatures of Japan hit me.

So, this is what my packing situation looked like a week ago, but I've gotten far from that mess and have now packed everything into my medium sized suitcase. Still a few stragglers left around my suitcase waiting to be packed, but I just can't seem to get to it anymore.

I would really like to just sleep until Tuesday when I leave, but I still have lots to do!
